A tender without the rush: the documents a contractor prepares

The document set clients most often require from a general contractor, and how to prepare it in advance rather than the night before the deadline.

01Why tenders are lost on paperwork

Technically strong contractors are often screened out at qualification: the wrong certificate, an expired statement, no proof of experience. The committee assesses the pack formally, and mistakes usually cannot be fixed after bids are opened.

02The core set

  • founding documents and registration certificate;
  • licences and permits for the declared works;
  • certificates of no tax arrears;
  • financial figures and turnover for recent periods;
  • reference list: projects, clients, acceptance certificates;
  • staff and equipment information;
  • a bank guarantee or other security, if required.

03What we keep ready

The PRO SOFORT BUILD contractor dossier is updated continuously: current statements, the project list with acceptance certificates, team details. That is why a full bid pack takes 48 hours, not a week.

You can download the dossier as a PDF on the Tenders page — handy for the client’s internal approval.

04The technical part of a bid

  • understanding of scope: which works and in what order;
  • a schedule with key milestones;
  • an estimate or price breakdown in the client’s format;
  • quality control and health and safety methods.

Invite us to a tender — send the specification and deadlines, and we confirm participation and the document set within one working day.
